Review: Her Rock Hard Mountain Man by Parker Grey

her rock hard mountain manTitle: Her Rock Hard Mountain Man

Author: Parker Grey

Year of publication: Out today! The author kindly gave me a copy to read and review

The heroine: College student Mia

The hero: Ex-Marine/Bar owner Elias Grant

The blurb: They think they own her. But she’s mine. And I’ll fight all of them to prove it.

When I got out of the Marines, I just wanted a simple life. Own a bar. Live in solitude. No complications, and that means no women.

Then I’m in my buddy’s wedding. I’m best man. She’s maid of honor. From the second I see her, I’m smitten. Eyes like sapphires. Lips like rosy pillows. Her body, pure temptation at its worst. She’s sweet. She’s innocent.

And that night, I find out she’s untouched.

There’s only one problem: her father’s an outlaw, the president of the dreaded Iron Diablos Motorcycle Club, and he’s got his own ideas about what his daughter is good for.

When I look at Mia, I see the woman I want to marry. He sees a bargaining chip. And I’m not about to let him get his way.

Standalone or series: Standalone, but part of the same universe as Her Obsessed Mountain Man.

The review: Mia is maid of honour at her friend Ruby’s wedding, and the best man is Elias, the groom’s best friend. She’s instantly smitten with him, but the ex-Marine is older and much more experienced than her, so Mia doesn’t think she has a chance with him. When she injures herself while trying to get back to her cabin, Elias is there to pick her up and it turns out her attraction is not one-sided.

Elias now owns the bar where he and Jax work, and the Iron Diablos MC members are frequent patrons. When Elias finds out that Mia is none other than the club president’s daughter, he’s worried for her safety. They meet in secret and embark on a hot, passionate affair, but when Dad finds out about it, suffice it to say he’s not happy.

Will Elias be able to rescue the woman he loves from the man who sired her without causing a war? Will Mia get her happily ever after? This is a hot, sexy novella that’s perfect for when you want something good to read but don’t have the time to commit to a novel. Another winning read from this author!

Review: Her Obsessed Mountain Man by Parker Grey

The heroine: College student Ruby Dawson

The hero: Ex-Marine/Bartender Jax Stuart

The blurb: I’ve been obsessed with Ruby since the day I saw her.

I’m rough, rugged, and damaged. Ever since I got out of the Marines, all I’ve wanted is to be left alone on my mountain.

Then, she walked into my bar, ordered a cheeseburger and a cherry coke, and before she took a single bite I was in love. Smitten. Completely obsessed with this beautiful, innocent girl.

But I’m not the only one who’s noticed her. My bar’s also the meeting spot for the Iron Diablos MC — and I’m the only man around here who’ll stand up to them.

And I’ll do anything to protect Ruby and make her mine.

Standalone or series: Standalone

The review: Ex-Marine Jax Stuart works as a bartender at a roadhouse where an MC gang known as the Iron Diablos likes to hang out. He’s not fazed by them and they mostly behave themselves. Besides, Jax lives for the nights that Ruby Dawson walks into his bar. She’s young, beautiful, and he’s a little obsessed with her.

Ruby stops in on the way to see her grandmother, and she loves seeing Jax – although she’d never admit it, because he’s at least a decade older than her and doesn’t give her a second glance. But when one of the Diablos, Viper, takes an interest in Ruby and she turns down his charming invitation to have a sordid encounter with him in the roadhouse restroom, Jax steps in to save her.

Once Ruby leaves, Jax notices Viper slips out soon after and he gets a gut feeling something is wrong. So he follows and saves Ruby from an attack by Viper. The police advise Ruby to lay low for a little while, in case of retaliation from the Diablos, so Jax offers to have her stay with him at his cabin, hidden away. He built it himself and it’s the perfect hiding place.

Forced to remain shacked up together, it doesn’t take long for the sexual tension between the two of them to appear, and they’re soon finding creative ways to occupy their time together. But Viper’s not done with Ruby; will Jax be able to save her again?

This is a hot novella that is perfect for when you want something good to read, but can’t seem to find the time to sit down and read a novel length book.

Review: Double Bosses by Parker Grey

double bossesTitle: Double Bosses

Author: Parker Grey

Year of publication: Out today! The author kindly gave me a copy to read and review

The heroine: Legal secretary Jenna McAlister

The heroes: Lawyers Kade Chandler and Lawson Marshall

The blurb: They’re rich, powerful, and alpha af. And they like to share.

Kade and Lawson are powerful, demanding, and they always get what they want.

In the courtroom. In the office. And in the bedroom.

What they want? Me. Their secretary. Even though I’m innocent and virtually untouched. Even though I work for them, and it’s absolutely against company policy.

Even though there’s two of them. There’s no way I should give into their rough, rugged demands – both my bosses at once? But then again, maybe I could do with a little overtime…

Standalone or series: Standalone

The review: Best friends Kade and Lawson work for the same law firm and have just made partner. They share a new secretary, the sweet and innocent Jenna. They’ve been known to share their women in the past, and when Jenna starts working for them, they’re both strongly attracted to her.

Jenna thinks both of her bosses are hot, but never in a million years does she think they’d ever be anything but professional towards her – but then one day, they make it clear they’re interested in her, and that they want to share her. She’s unable to resist them, and so begins a torrid, risky romance. If they get caught in the office, they’ll all be fired.

When a client worth a lot of money to the firm demands Kade and Lawson go to London to help with their case, they’re annoyed because it means they’ll be away from Jenna – until they’re told she’s to go with them to take notes for the legal firm. So they put their plan of claiming Jenna as their own into action, and it begins on the plane in the first class cabin.

This book is full of hot sex scenes and the attention is all on Jenna, so if you love well-written ménage, you’re going to love this book. Don’t miss it!
